Events of Criminal Case
When the murder occurred, Orville West was shot and he crashed into Walter's balloon. Though Orville died, Walter only got out with injuries and his health became better as the investigation went on. After arresting Orville's killer, Maddie, Charlie and the player decided to pay Walter a visit. He was happy himself to report he was getting better, and was prepared to take flight again very soon. He also said his only other visitor was Justin Lawson, as they were old friends, and was happy to see him considering what had happened to him. Charlie then decided to ask him how Orville's flight was, since he had the best view; Walter explained that Orville was having trouble with his steampack before even being shot. While Charlie decided to have a look at the steampack to see what these problems were, Maddie wanted to have a closer look at Justin's past.

- Walter is one of the few characters (aside the victims) to appear as a clue in a crime scene.
