Virginia was a documentary film writer. She is also a childhood friend of Amy Young.
Murder Details
Virginia was found by the player impaled on a tree in the woods, in which the player didn't hesitate to ship Virginia to Roxie Sparks for autopsy. Roxie made the autopsy result plain and simple: the murder weapon was the tree branch which impaled Virginia. The killer shoved Virginia against the tree and due to the amount of force the killer used during the push, Virginia was impaled by the tree's branch, resulting in a slow, painful death. Amy interfered during Roxie's report in which Frank Knight didn't like, alas Roxie made clear that Amy had every right to know since Virginia was important to Amy.
Following Amy's interruption, Roxie spotted the bruises in which the killer touched Virginia and she couldn't help but take a closer look at the victim's clothes, in which she spotted traces of pumpkin soup. This observation made it clear that the killer ate pumpkin soup.
Frank and the player made a second trip to the woods without Chief Marquez's intervention and found a handkerchief and a pocket knife in which the player collected hair blood samples for Yann Toussaint to analyze. Yann concluded that the blood on the pocket knife was not Virginia's, but the killer's as he pointed out that Virginia used the pocket knife to fend for herself. Moreso Yann did a DNA test on the hair in which it came from the eyelash of the killer since those hairs dictated what color of eyes the killer had. Yann was able to determine that the killer had green eyes based on the DNA test he did on the eyelash hair. Besides that, Yann made it clear that the killer's blood type was AB- based on the blood analysis he did on the blood that stained Virginia's knife.
Killer and Motives
The killer was a film producer named Lola Dickinson.
Lola intended to finish a documentary about the Night Walker's existence but at the condition of having Virginia alive but Frank cut off Lola for a moment to prove her guilt due to evidence found in the murder investigation including but not limited to her blood found on the pocket knife Virginia used to fend for herself before she was murdered. Lola admitted to grand homicide and explicitly made it clear that it was an accident, so she explained what happened to both Frank and the player.
People in White Peaks wanted historical information about the Night Walker, and since this breeded blood and violence, so to simulate this feat, she talked to Virginia about the Night Walker, but angered the victim every time she talked about it in front of her face. Alas Lola followed Virginia as if she was the Night Walker to instill fear into the victim, resulting in Virginia being terrified due to the Night Walker following her. Lola revealed herself to Virginia, resulting in the latter stabbing Lola with a pocket knife, forcing Lola to shove Virginia against a tree, but didn't know that the amount of force she exerted impaled Virginia. Frank made it clear to Lola that she lied to both the player and himself, so the player shipped Lola to face trial.
Lola told Judge Dante that Virginia would be remembered for the work she done for the Night Walker documentary deducing the murder made the victim a part of the Night Walker legend in which Judge Dante was disgusted since he believed Virginia was entitled to a road of opportunities in which Lola denied the victim through an act of murder. Judge Dante decided thus that the murder was not an accident as Lola originally thought it was, so he gave the film producer a 25-year jail sentence for the first-degree murder of Virginia Watchbird.
