Hello Guys, so as you can see from the title, I'm going to rant about why Pretty Simple is one of, if not the most ruthless game developers on Earth.
Pretty Simple, a very good French Indie Game company. What drags tens of thousands of people playing this game is the deep storyline it has, and the twists and turns of the story. However, their developers, I suspect, are probably born without a heart. They are one of the most ruthless game developers I have seen. Now, I understand that killing off major characters and making fan-favorites killers is actually good for the company in general, as it is what makes the storyline even thicker. However, season 4 and 5 (Mysteries of the Past and Conspiracy) are peak-ruthless for Pretty Simple.
What characters shouldn't have been a murderer or a victim, here's my rant.
Seamus O'Neil, the boyfriend of one that I consider a legend. Sure his death had thickened the storyline, but is it really necessary to kill him off instead? He could have just suffer a life-threathening injury, but then lived. Obivously, this would make the Season less memoriable, but PS could choose to kill him off in the end as well. It's just...yeah.
Speaking of Legends, is it really necessary to make Guiletta a killer? She's a pratical legend in the CC community. Not only that, but she has been proven innocent for 9 cases, the most of any character. Then PS decided to do the "Pretty Simple" way by just making the legend a murderer. Plus, they did not mention did Guiletta and Enzo went to prison, and for how long. That is quite a terrible way to treat a legend, PS.
Pretty Simple's ruthlessness peaked during Season 5. I mean come on, towards the end of Season 5, nearly everyone we love died! Let me go though a quick rant about people that died.
Rozetta Pierre, an ethnics criminal throughout most of the season, then she finally showed her good side of life, and helped us to fight the true villian. Then, at the end of Case 59-Killed.
Rita Estevez, a solid, tough as nails woman in her life, and she showed that by destorying the superhumans. Then, at the end of the Season-killed.
Some people wern't even allowed to get to the last part: Zoe Kusama, Louis Leroux, Mia Loukas...this is peak ruthlessness for Pretty Simple. They literally kill whoever is a fan favorite.
Oh yeah, and I haven't even started to rant about how they torture our favorite characters. Pretty Simple does this and makes all of our favorites crying and even commiting suicide. Making Amy lose her own best friend, then discovering her brother is a serial killer; Having Lars to discover his wife is the mole, then having him to almost commit suicide; Then having both Giulietta and Maddie lose their partners, the former even lost her entire family; before Pretty Simple unleashed absolute hell on David Jones, by making his girlfriend dissappear, then turning her into a killer before murdering her, causing Jones to almost commit suicide. They also made Gloria lose her ex-husband, and Mia to lose her father before dying 2 weeks later. Since then, Pretty Simple haven't been as ruthless as they were during Season 4 and 5, but still, I know full well that if Martine became a recurring character this season, then she has every chance to become a victim or even a murderer.
Note: I have no problem with Pretty Simple, it's just a rant about their ruthlessness.
