Gianni Domani was a suspect in the murder investigations of journalist Sébastien Lefebvre in Murder à la Mode (Case #2 of City of Romance) and fashion designer Charles Pilsnerfeld in Death by Design (Case #5 of City of Romance).

Gianni is a 53-year-old fashion designer for Domani. He has brown eyes, long, dirty blond hair, a moustache and a goatee. He wears a black blazer with gold lining and gray, silver and white polka dots. He sports a black beret and a gold chain necklace. Additionally, he has several tattoos across his upper torso: branches across the sides of his neck and a large flower over his left pectoral muscle. He also has visible chest hair.
In his first appearance, it is known that Gianni smokes Laval cigarettes.
In his second appearance, both his blazer and beret change color to cardinal red. It is discovered that Gianni eats escargots, listens to Voyou Fou and lives on the left bank.

Events of Criminal Case
Murder à la Mode
Gianni became a suspect after Carrie and the player found his hat at the lobby of Flamme. He told the team that he had given the hat to Sébastien for a writeup on Gianni's new line for Fashion Week. He assumed that someone had shot Sébastien for being "too basic" and claimed that he was too busy reinventing clothing to plan a murder.
Gianni was spoken to again about his accusation that Sébastien was snooping. He revealed that his assistants had caught Sébastien snooping around his studio twice and believed that he was gathering information about his new line to sell to other designers. When Carrie asked him why he believed that, he informed them that Sébastien had not made an appointment to interview him. Since he was not there to write an article, there was no other reason for him to be there.
Gianni was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Juliette Segal for Sébastien's murder.
Death by Design
Gianni became a suspect again after Hugo and the player found his anti-Chior poster. Gianni told the team that Chior was a "fat, stuffy, suffocating weight" on the fashion industry. Upon being told about the murder, Gianni claimed that it was good riddance, making Hugo suspect him as the killer. However, Gianni told him that he had not killed Charles and was actually disappointed that the after-party had been cancelled as he had intended on crashing it.
Gianni was spoken to again about his plans to have his fashion show after-party at the same venue as the Chior after-party. He revealed that Charles had stolen the venue from under him by paying the owners double what Gianni was paying them. He was furious with Charles as he needed a péniche with "Rose" in its name in order to reveal his new line of rose-colored swimwear. He then claimed that Charles had ruined everything.
Gianni was found to be innocent again after the team incarcerated Simone Lemaitre for Charles' murder.
