Events of Criminal Case

Spencer was first interrogated after Frank and the player identified him on his business card found in the hotel room. When asked if he brought the victim to the hotel room, he said he could not exactly recall her because he was so drunk the night before. When Frank informed him of Stacy's murder, he told Frank that he vaguely remembered her, blacked out, then woke up and found he was alone.

Frank and the player questioned Spencer again after finding a photo of him marrying the victim. He thought the player was joking when he was told he married the victim, then was shocked to see the wedding picture, saying he had no idea that he went to the chapel and got married. He explains that he was clearly drunk in the picture, and immediately regretted making that decision.

Although Jeremy Bowman's arrest proved him to be innocent, Spencer was still causing trouble. The player, accompanied by Roxie, spoke with him to settle an argument between him and Jezebel Lopez. Though Jezebel stole a watch from him, Spencer refused to pay for her services and texted his friends boasting about it. He was shocked, and he made the assumption of the team taking Jezebel's side after she stole from him. But the team had enough of Spencer's games and fined him for wasting the police's time with that argument by making them run around town.
