Slay it with Flowers is a case featured in Criminal Case as the fifteenth case of City of Romance (Season 8) and the three-hundred sixty-seventh case overall. It is the final one to take place in the Jealousy district of Paris.
Plot
In response to a distress call from Prince Amadou of Mazunda, Carrie and the player headed to the Medici Fountain where they found the prince's bodyguard, Willem Nieuwoudt, dead and having bled from his ears, eyes, and nose.
Mid-investigation, Émile told the team that the news of the murder had leaked to the press, leaving the Prince vulnerable to potential attackers. Later, Léa told the team that Amadou had been attacked by the bouquinistes near the Seine; the team learned that someone had been trying to steal his backpack before Léa intervened. The team then found enough evidence to incriminate Willem's girlfriend, Nicole Abitbol, in the murder.
Nicole admitted that she was part of a group that had been trying to kidnap Amadou, but their plans were always thwarted by Willem. She then entered into a relationship with Willem to gain his trust and then killed him by sending an electric shock to his brain. Judge Lebrun sentenced her to 50 years in prison, despite Nicole naming her kidnapping crew in an attempt to get a lighter sentence.
Post-trial, Amadou told Émile and the player that although he had quit the app, Luvver had him checked in by the bouquinistes even if he were actually in the precinct. Deducing that his phone had been cloned, Hugo Mercier joined the team in going to the bouquinistes, where they found a device in a gargoyle statue, which (per Émile) was a hacking device that scanned the surroundings for unprotected phones for them to hack into. From there, they created fake accounts of important people, including Amadou and the President of France. The team then assured Amadou that his fake Luvver account had been deleted. The team then helped him talk to his crush, ornithology student Safia Jayid.
Meanwhile, Carrie and the player helped Cody James prepare for his wedding with Eleonora Macaron by discovering that his planned venue hosted mushrooms that Eleonora was allergic to. After telling Cody this, Eleonora told him to relax and offered the player an open invite to their wedding. After all the events, Émile detected a spike in activity in the President's fake account, signifying that someone in Luvver had some shady dealings. Later, the team was informed that Antoine Macaron had been released from prison on a technicality.

Trivia
- The case name could be a reference to the Victorian phrase, "say it with flowers", meaning that people say their feelings through flowers and that each flower can have a different meaning.
- It can also refer to the 2005 fiction mystery book, by Kate Collins, of the same name.
- This case, Under the Skin, No Place Like Home, The King's Shadow, Crime and Punishment, and Going Once, Going Twice, Dead!, are the only district/region/time period finale cases in which the killer made no previous appearances prior to the events of those cases.
- Several references to books from the real world and from other cases in the game can be found in the Used Books, a clue from the "Open Stalls" crime scene:
- Animal Graveyard is a parody of horror novel Pet Sematary, which is featured as an attribute in Death at a Funeral.
- The Nightingale is a book written by the late author Jacqueline Proust, the author's surname most likely taken from real life author Marcel Proust.
- Dr Slumber is a reference to the sequel of the Shining, Doctor Sleep, and written by author Johnny Torrents in the Criminal Case universe.
- Zizi dans le Métro is a comic book featured as an attribute in Dressed to Be Killed.
- Miracle Girl is another comic book that is written and illustrated by the late artist Marcus Butler, and is greatly featured in the events of Color Me Murdered.
