Serap (Arab: سراب) was the killer of her adoptive father, Vizier Ibrahim, in Pride Comes Before the Fall (Case #14 of Travel in Time).
Profile
Serap is a 20-year-old warrior and adoptive daughter of the victim. She has green eyes, freckes and tied up brown hair underneath a red-and-white cap. She wears an off-white shirt underneath a red vest with a golden dot linings. She also wears a blue scarf. She is seen carrying a sword with a gold-and-black hilt on her back and having acid burns on her right hand. It is known that Serap eats stuffed melon, uses rosewater and reads Firuzi.

Events of Criminal Case
Serap became a suspect after Nebet and the player found her dagger in the victim's box. She informed the team that the victim was a father figure to her as he had taken her in as an orphan. She told the team that she hoped that they would find whoever had killed him.
Serap was spoken to again about the acid in her possession. She explained that the victim had ordered her to harm Roxelana, the Sultan's concubine. Even though she did not want to follow the victim's instructions, she abided and attempted to assassinate Roxelana. After she failed her first attempt, the victim gave her an acid-filled lamp to throw at Roxelana. However, she tripped and burned herself with the acid.
In the end, it was proven that Serap was Ibrahim's killer. Serap admitted that she was having an affair with Roxelana. However, Ibrahim had ordered Serap to kill Roxelana, as he believed she had too much influence over the Sultan. Feeling she had to follow her adoptive father's orders, Serap purposely failed to kill Roxelana, and pretended she had failed accidentally. Fearing that Ibrahim would discover Serap's lies and kill Roxelana himself, Serap pushed him over the balcony to kill him. Suleiman banished her from the Ottoman for two years, but allowed Roxelana to bid her farewell.
