Events of Criminal Case

Resistance is Fatal

Mildred became a suspect after Isaac and the player found a letter written to her by her late uncle, requesting her to leave the resistance. She told them that her uncle had almost convinced her to return to her studies, but she immediately changed her mind when he was murdered for speaking out against Mayor Lawson. When asked if she knew the victim, she said she did not know him, but would raise a glass of sake in his memory.

Later on, the team found Mildred holding Evie hostage at the resistance headquarters. Mildred was convinced they were on Justin's side, given that they let her uncle's killer free. To calm her down, Isaac told her that her uncle would have never passed such a sentence and that they freed Florence so that she wouldn't be sentenced to death on a whim. This led her to surrender her gun and let Evie go, which resulted in her being placed into temporary custody.

Mildred was spoken to again regarding a bomb she was making. She believed that the resistance was not taking enough action, so she tried to take matters into her own hands. However, the victim caught her in the process and reported her to Giulietta Capecchi, the leader of the resistance.

Despite her aggressive behavior, Mildred was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Bill Beatty for Dylan's murder.

Best Laid Plans

Prior to the events of the case, the Squad released her before she was arrested by the Justice Corps for being a member of the resistance. She, along with many other political prisoners, were sent to the dungeons to await their execution.

When Charlie and the player broke into the dungeon to free the Squad (sans Dick and Isaac), they freed Mildred, along with the other political prisoners. She showed her gratitude to the Squad before escaping from the scene.
