Events of Criminal Case
Martha became a suspect after Jack and the player learned that she had served Billy at her bar. After she welcomed the team to the Woodgate Inn, Martha was questioned about Billy. She told the team that she knew his name, but could not remember his face.
Martha was spoken to again about her message to the victim that he would pay for her surgery. She told the team that she had sensed that Billy was hiding something. Trying to get him to admit that he was gay, Billy lashed out and broke her nose.
Martha was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Ellie Argent for Billy's murder. Later, Jack and the player brought Nebet to the Woodgate Inn so that she could try one of their award-winning hot dogs. Telling Nebet that she could have the hot dog on the house if Nebet told her who designed her outfit, Martha taught her that "on the house" meant that it was free. Jack then insisted that he paid for the hot dogs.
- Martha appears to be a reference to American gay liberation activist Marsha P. Johnson.
- Being 6 feet, 6 inches tall, Martha is one of the second tallest characters in the game.
- She is also one of the second tallest female characters in the game.
- In Gone in 30 Seconds' sticker album, it is noted in the suspect list sticker that Martha is 6'3" when she appeared as 6'6" in her profile. This is most likely a developer oversight.
