Events of Criminal Case
Malcolm became a suspect after he ran into Luke and the player at the crime scene. After he identified himself and the victim, he told the team that Paul was a big name in the art world, but he did not know of any enemies that he might have had. He then informed them that Paul's studio was near the crime scene, prompting the team to investigate there next.
Malcolm was spoken to again about his threatening voicemail to the victim. He explained that his sculpting instructor had bailed, so he told Paul to teach the sculpting classes. However, Paul was a difficult artist to deal with, enraging Malcolm and prompting him to violently threaten him.
Malcolm was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Susan Etter for Paul's murder.
