Events of Criminal Case

Major Perkins became a suspect after Zara and the player found the army recruitment pamphlet that she had given to the victim. When questioned, she told the team that she had not recalled seeing Noah, explaining that she had gone to Woodstock to help guide the hippies.

Perkins was spoken to again about her broken war medal. She explained that she had been met with resistance at the festival and that nobody she had spoken to wanted to join the army. When she tried to relate to Noah, he expressed his peaceful, pacifist beliefs. When she tried to present him her medal to show him what he could aim for, Noah broke the medal and called her a murderer.

In the end, it was proven that Perkins was Noah's killer. Upon admitting to the murder, Perkins said that she had mistaken a car backfiring for gunshots. Perkins then tackled Noah, falling against the van. However, the impact had killed Noah. The team then handed her over to the Army. Marina then told the team that she had disguised herself as a police psychologist and explained Perkins' condition (post-traumatic stress disorder, which had not been officially recognized as a disorder by then) to her superior officer, who promised to rehabilitate her while she served her custodial sentence.

Trivia

  • In Summer of Death's sticker album, it is noted in the suspect list sticker that Perkins is 5'7" when she appeared as 5'8" in her profile. This is most likely a developer oversight.
