Louis d'Anjou was the killer of his mother, château owner Marguerite d'Anjou, in Party Like It's 1699 (Case #4 of City of Romance).

Louis is the 23-year-old heir to the d'Anjou family name. He has short curly black hair, brown eyes, and stubble. He dons a Sinbad blue Carmagnole with gold and black linings on the coat and the cuffs. He wears a copper rose waistcoat with a dark pattern under his Carmagnole, and also wears a Chantilly lace jabot. It is known that Louis drinks Pompette champagne, plays tennis and takes Sexy Beast pills.

Events of Criminal Case
Louis became a suspect after Carrie and the player found the locket he had gifted to his mother. Upon being told about the murder, Louis acted shocked and revealed that he was now the last living descendant of the great d'Anjou dynasty. When Carrie called him out for not seeming upset, Louis claimed that, like all nobles, he had a stiff upper lip.
Louis was spoken to again about his mother being angry at him. He revealed that the d'Anjous were actually dirt poor, despite their appearance. Despite knowing about their financial situation, Louis could not give up his indulgent lifestyle, causing huge arguments between him and his mother that resulted in Marguerite cutting off his allowance. However, since his mother was now dead, there was nothing stopping him from accessing his funds, although he claimed to be a changed man.
In the end, it was proven that Louis was Marguerite's killer. He explained that given that their family was getting poorer, he had the idea to convert their residence to a bed and breakfast so they could generate income. Marguerite was against this idea, however, as she wanted to preserve the purity of their home. Not wanting to give up his luxurious lifestyle, Louis decapitated his mother with a meat cleaver and placed the head in the kitchen to frame their chef, Amandine Brioche. Judge Lebrun sentenced him to life in prison.

- As Louis turns out to be the killer of his mother at the climax of her murder investigation, he is one of the killers in City of Romance to commit domestic homicide.
