Events of Criminal Case

At a gas station near Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kevin informed Gwen and the player that Marigold, one of his passengers, had gone missing. Gwen and the player found Marigold's duffle bag with her severed head inside, causing Kevin to collapse.

Kevin became a suspect after Gwen and the player revived him. He explained that they had just come from the Island of the Dolls and had thought that everyone had been accounted for. Gwen recommended that him and the rest of the passengers stayed at the gas station before the team headed to the island.

Kevin was spoken to again about his check to Marigold for $10,000. He explained that Marigold was an Internet sensation, so he paid her to review his tour. However, she told him that she was going to tag him in a negative post, which would have ruined Kevin's business. He admitted to arguing with Marigold, but denied killing her.

Mid-investigation, Kevin tried to drive the tour bus away. He was stopped by Gwen and the player, who informed them that they could leave as soon as the team had figured out who had murdered Marigold.

Kevin was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Tiffany for Marigold's murder. Later, Gwen and the player asked Kevin for some rose quartz so that Felix could summon the serial-killing ghost. He told them that he had thrown a piece of rose quartz away at the gas station before leaving.
