Jonathan is the 40-year old brother of resurrected businessman Larry Zarus. He has short dirty blond hair and blue eyes. He sports gold-rimmed aviator glasses. Events of Criminal Case
Jonathan became a suspect after Luke and the player identified him in a photo with Larry. After exclaiming that the drinks were on him, he told the team that he was the happiest guy in the world as his brother was alive again. His mood then shifted when he asked if the team were Bernie's relatives. After Luke and the player identified themselves as investigators, Jonathan told them that he had not witnessed Bernie's death and had only been informed by Larry, who was devastated to have lost his closest friend.
Jonathan was spoken to again about his argument with the victim. He revealed that when Larry died, he went on a spending spree with his company credit card, infuriating Bernie, who threatened to call the cops on him if he did not turn over the credit card. He then reveled in the fact that since Bernie was dead, he could keep his brand new Forsche, as well as have his brother back.
Jonathan was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Vicki Silverman for Bernie's murder.
