Events of Criminal Case
Guillaume became a suspect after Jack and the player found the earrings he had gifted to the victim. More concerned about the fountain than the victim, he told them that he had given the earrings to Tangzi to thank her for her hospitality, as he had done to each of General Subutai's wives. He told the team that the silver tree was his greatest achievement and excused himself to return to his work.
Guillaume was spoken to again about his disagreements with the victim regarding the silver tree fountain's design. He told the team that Tangzi wanted to change his "perfect fountain", deeply angering him.
Guillaume was found to be innocent after the team incarcerated Ayanchin for Tangzi's murder. Later, Kai and the player spoke with Guillaume about the silver tree fountain. Guillaume explained that one of the fountain's gears had broken and needed to find a replacement. After Kai and the player analyzed the broken gear, Kai managed to construct a stronger replacement. They gave the new gear to Guillaume who installed it in the fountain. Moments later, the fountain started working again and he thanked the team.
