Annabel Leigh was the killer of her boyfriend, poet Edgar Woe, in Graveyard Shift (Case #44 of Mysteries of the Past).

Annabel is a 25-year-old sweetheart of the victim. She has short tousled blonde hair. She wears a forest green dress with a rose pattern lined with white ruffles on the neckline and the sleeves. She also wears a silver choker with a raven insignia. It is known that Annabel has a cat, knows vampire lore and drinks red wine.

Events of Criminal Case
Annabel became a suspect after Isaac and the player found a locket containing her picture and the victim's. She confirmed that she was the victim's sweetheart and blamed the angels for his death as they envied their happiness. When asked if Edgar had any enemies, she said that no one would have wanted to harm him as all he did was write poetry dedicated to her.
Annabel was spoken to again about a poem detailing the victim leaving her. She explained that poetry shouldn't be taken so literally, and that the victim was artfully inconsistent. She revealed that Edgar would often waver between devotion and abandonment, but he would always come back to her. She then said if the victim had taken the holy water she given him, he might not have been killed.
In the end, Annabel was proven to be Edgar's killer. After denying involvement, Annabel admitted that she had killed Edgar for his infidelity. She said that she found out that Edgar was sleeping around with many women upon reading his secret notebook. Enraged, she injected his carotid artery with a syringe and used a blood pump to drain the blood out of him. Judge Lawson sentenced her to life imprisonment without parole.
Post-trial, Maddie and the player had to speak with Annabel again, this time about the Devil. Annabel revealed that she hadn't asked the Devil for help in killing Edgar, but that they had offered to help her take revenge. The Devil sent her a message telling her where to find a blood pump that she could use to kill Edgar and make it look like a vampire attack. She said that she threw the sack that held the pump away near the tavern, prompting Maddie and the player to reinvestigate it.

- Annabel's cat, Mephisto, is a reference to Mephistopheles, a demon in German folk literature.
- Annabel is one of the killers who are interrogated once more during the Additional Investigation.
- Annabel bears a resemblance to Miss Scarlett from Clue(do), a murder mystery board game.
