Events of Criminal Case

Dennis came into the case when suspect Maria Sanchez suggested the police to talk to him.

Dennis said he had offered Ned his bodyguard services because the latter needed protection due to selling "crap" to a lot of people. When asked who would have killed Ned, Dennis suspected one of the people who lost their home in a mortgage trial. Those people's names were written in a list he had torn to pieces. After retrieving it, Jones and the player inspected the list and found a certain Joe Stern's name on it – grounds for the duo to interrogate Joe and investigate his mini-market.

Dennis was eventually found guilty of Ned's murder. He admitted to killing the victim and trying to burn the house down, but refused to say anything about his motive. Despite the motive not being revealed, Judge Hall sentenced him to life imprisonment for the murder.

It was presumed that Dennis was paid to kill Ned by an unknown person. The police suspected the unknown person to be Tony Marconi, but could never prove it.

  • In both his mugshot and arrest photo, the color of Dennis' bandage changes from brown to white.
  • Dennis's hairstyle, build and skin tone appear to be slightly different in the mobile variant of Criminal Case (see image).
  • Dennis is one of the suspects to be interrogated only once during the main leg.
