Corpse Chic

After arresting Elise Marx's killer, Carrie confessed to Chief Delacroix and the player that she was in Paris to find Cody, revealing that she had received a postcard from him a month prior. After finding the postcard, Chief Delacroix determined that Cody was linked to the "Pigeons and Rats", aka the Parisian mob. Chief Delacroix and the player asked gang leader Antoine Macaron if he knew Cody. He claimed that he had never heard of him and asked the team to leave him in peace. However, he let slip that his underlings hung out at Place de la Concorde, prompting the team to search there for a lead on Cody. There, they found Cody's cap in a trash can, bringing back memories for Carrie. Chief Delacroix then concluded that there was a high possibility that Cody was in the mob.

Death by Design

After the arrest of Charles Pilsnerfeld's killer, Carrie and the player went to the La Vie en Rose péniche to continue her search for Cody. There, the player found a snow globe with a quote from Cody's and Carrie's favorite film, Casablanca. Per High Commissioner Delacroix, Cody hinted that he was near the smaller replica of the Statue of Liberty at Pont de Grenelle. There, Carrie was able to meet Cody and the siblings then embraced each other. Cody then confessed that he was trying to escape Antoine Macaron's mob with his girlfriend, Eleonora Macaron and promised to signal them when it was time, for his and Eleonora’s safety.
